Welcome to Downtown Studioz! By renting a car, bike, or scooty from us, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of our services and ensure a smooth, fair experience for both parties. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any rental.

1. Eligibility and Documentation

1.1 To rent a vehicle from Downtown Studioz, you must be at least 18 years old for two-wheelers and 21 years old for cars.
1.2 You must possess a valid government-issued driving license appropriate for the type of vehicle you are renting.
1.3 You are required to provide valid identification documents such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport for verification purposes.
1.4 Non-residents must provide a valid passport and visa documents.

2. Vehicle Condition and Usage

2.1 Vehicles must be inspected by both the customer and Downtown Studioz staff before the rental. Any pre-existing damage or concerns should be noted in the rental agreement.
2.2 The rented vehicle should be returned in the same condition as it was received, subject to normal wear and tear.
2.3 The customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period. You agree to bear the cost of any repairs or replacement, including parts and labor.
2.4 Vehicles must not be used for racing, illegal activities, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Misuse of the vehicle will lead to immediate termination of the rental agreement and legal action if necessary.
2.5 The customer must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while using the vehicle. Any fines or penalties incurred are the sole responsibility of the renter.

3. Rental Period and Late Returns

3.1 The rental period begins at the time of vehicle pickup and ends when the vehicle is returned to Downtown Studioz as per the agreed time.
3.2 Late returns will incur additional charges, calculated on an hourly or daily basis depending on the delay.
3.3 Extensions of the rental period must be requested in advance, and approval is subject to vehicle availability.

4. Payment and Security Deposit

4.1 The total rental fee must be paid at the time of booking or before vehicle pickup.
4.2 A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals and will be returned once the vehicle is inspected and confirmed to be in good condition. The deposit may be withheld in part or full if there are damages, fines, or breaches of the agreement.
4.3 Downtown Studioz reserves the right to charge additional fees for fuel shortages, vehicle cleaning, and any other costs associated with the misuse of the vehicle.

5. Fuel Policy

5.1 Vehicles are provided with a full or partial tank of fuel, as specified during the rental. The customer is responsible for refueling the vehicle to the same level before returning it.
5.2 Any fuel shortages will be charged based on current market prices, and deductions will be made from the security deposit.

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 All vehicles are insured under third-party liability coverage, as required by law. However, the customer is responsible for any damages not covered under the insurance policy.
6.2 In the event of an accident, the customer must immediately notify Downtown Studioz and follow the prescribed process for insurance claims. Failure to report an accident will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit and additional liability charges.
6.3 The customer is fully liable for any personal injury, property damage, or third-party claims arising from the misuse of the vehicle.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

7.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental period will qualify for a full refund of the rental fee, excluding any booking charges.
7.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental period will incur a cancellation fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
7.3 No refunds will be provided for no-shows or early returns unless agreed upon by Downtown Studioz under special circumstances.

8. Termination of Rental Agreement

8.1 Downtown Studioz reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time if the customer is found violating any terms or engaging in illegal activities.
8.2 The customer must return the vehicle immediately upon termination, and any unpaid charges must be settled in full.

9. Breakdown and Emergency Assistance

9.1 In the event of a breakdown, customers are required to contact Downtown Studioz immediately for assistance.
9.2 If the breakdown is due to mechanical failure (not caused by the customer’s negligence), Downtown Studioz will provide a replacement vehicle, subject to availability, or arrange for repairs.
9.3 Any breakdowns or accidents caused by the customer’s misuse of the vehicle will be their responsibility, including repair costs and any third-party damages.

10. Prohibited Activities

10.1 The rented vehicle cannot be sub-leased or rented out to another party.
10.2 Smoking and the transportation of illegal substances or hazardous materials are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
10.3 Customers are not permitted to drive outside the designated geographical limits (if any) without prior approval from Downtown Studioz.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 Downtown Studioz respects your privacy and will collect and store personal information only for the purposes of the rental agreement, compliance with legal obligations, and communication with you regarding our services.
11.2 Your personal information will not be shared with third parties, except for legal compliance or as required for insurance and vehicle safety purposes.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

12.1 Downtown Studioz reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or communication to the customer.
12.2 Customers are encouraged to review the terms and conditions periodically for updates.

By renting a vehicle from Downtown Studioz, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any of the terms may result in the forfeiture of your security deposit, additional charges, or legal action if necessary.
